Condolence Messages
Frank was my cousin and every Sunday we would go to our grandparents in Linlathen, Frank lived there until he got married and my abiding memory is of him sitting at the table listening to his records. He was quite a few years older than the rest of us cousins but it was his music that opened up a new world to us. I was born on his birthday and my middle name is Frances, named after him. Brian and I send our sympathy and love to Agnes and his daughter and grandchildren.
Frank was my brother in law, whom my sister loved dearly and they had a very happy loving 64 years together. The pokies are certainly going to miss him, but not as much as my sister and her immediate family. Frank was a wonderful husband, Father, Grandad, brother in law, Uncle, Great Uncle & a Great Great Uncle. I know my Sister (Agnes), Neice (Young Agnes), Greg (Young Agnes’ Husband), Josh and Sam (Young Agnes’s boys) are going to miss him dearly.
We (myself and my sister Charelle) have so many memories of Uncle Frank (when we visited Australia back in 1982) he took us everywhere and ensured we had the best three months whilst visiting. We loved his barbecues and we both know he loved his OVD (mother would bring him a few bottles every time she came over to Australia for a visit.
I (Sonia) was extremely lucky as Uncle Frank, Aunty Agnes and Gran came over to Scotland for my 21st, my engagement and also my wedding (1995)
Our Uncle Frank was a prankster and teased us all (which he loved doing) especially me, my sister Charelle and mostly my mother Helen
As much as we didn’t spend all our child/adult hood with him, we both still loved him and we both feel very saddened that he is no longer here (with our Aunty Agnes and our big cousin Agnes, Greg, Josh and Sam).
Aunty Agnes, cousin Agnes, Greg and the boys, we love you xxx
My sister Charelle unfortunately has no wifi so this condolence is from us both.
